Understand learner status

You’ll see one of these statuses next to each learner:

  • Not started: The learner hasn’t opened the module yet.
  • Not submitted: The learner started but hasn’t submitted.
  • Submitted: The learner submitted and is waiting for grading (manual grading module).
  • Published: The module is automatically graded and published (automatic grading module).
  • Graded: You manually graded and published the result.

Automatically graded modules

When automatic grading is enabled, scores are automatically calculated and published without instructor action required.

To view a learner’s score:

  1. Open the learner’s submission.
  2. Review the score and breakdown.
