How do I control slice orientation?

To control slices and their orientation, follow these steps:

Slice position & orientation

1. Drag your scout images into the viewports.
2. Add a pulse sequence from the Pulse Sequence List.
3. Double-click to open the sequence.
4. Click on the desired viewport (it will be highlighted with blue) to plan your slice.
5. Move the slice by dragging it from the centroid. Rotate the slice by using the white boxes and angling clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Parameters

• In the Geometry tab, you can also adjust FOV, slice thickness, slice gap, matrix size and more to further refine slice prescription and orientation.
