Why are the wrong anatomical or scout images displayed?

If the localizers display scout images from an unexpected anatomical region (for example, ankle images in a lumbar spine module), it usually means the Isocenter is positioned outside the intended area.

To correct this:

  1. Open Tools in the header
  2. Select Isocenter to reposition the scan location to the desired anatomy
    1. Select one of the options:
      • Whole body: allows you to choose specific areas
      • Regions: allows you to choose specific body parts
  3. Click Save to apply your selection.
  4. If this is a new scan, click Run all in the Pulse Sequence List to run the scout images.
  5. If you have run scans before, the scout images will update automatically.
  6. Drag the scout images into your viewports to review them.
