Why are the wrong anatomical or scout images displayed?
If the localizers display scout images from an unexpected anatomical region (for example, ankle images in a lumbar spine module), it usually means the Isocenter is positioned outside the intended area.
To correct this:
- Open Tools in the header
- Select Isocenter to reposition the scan location to the desired anatomy
- Select one of the options:
- Whole body: allows you to choose specific areas
- Regions: allows you to choose specific body parts
- Select one of the options:
- Click Save to apply your selection.
- If this is a new scan, click Run all in the Pulse Sequence List to run the scout images.
- If you have run scans before, the scout images will update automatically.
- Drag the scout images into your viewports to review them.
