Why is my simulation time so long or short?

Simulation time mainly depends on the number of slices and the sequence resolution (voxel size). Because the Corsmed MRI Simulator computes the MRI signal voxel by voxel, these parameters have the greatest impact on how long a simulation takes.

Other settings, such as enabling physiological motion, can also significantly increase simulation time.
