There is a feature to copy different slice parameters from a pulse sequence to another.
How to copy slice
- Add a pulse sequence into your protocol tray to have ready to run. Double click to check parameters and settings.
- Hover over a pulse sequence on the one you want the parameters to be copied from (the sequence needs to have completed already.) When you hover over the sequence, it will highlight in grey (lighter than the new sequence ready to be run).
- Right-click on the pulse sequence and a pop-up will appear with options.
A sub-menu will appear with the choices: All slices, Slice number and Center slice.
- Choose the option of your liking
- Don't forget to save when you are satisfied with the result!
Copy options
The different options will copy different parameters depending on the option. Here we refer to measurement parameters as FOV, slice thickness, slice gap, matrix size and expansion direction.
All slices
This option will copy everything from the pulse sequence that is copied from:
- Slice number
- Position
- Orientation
- Measurement parameters
Slice number
This option will partially copy from the pulse sequence that is copied from:
- Slice number
- Orientation
It will use the center position of the pulse sequence that is copied from and recalculate the position based on the measurement parameters of the pulse sequence that is copied to.
Center slice
This option will partially copy from the pulse sequence that is copied from:
- Orientation
It will use the center position of the pulse sequence that is copied from and recalculate the position based on the measurement parameters of the pulse sequence that is copied to.
This option will keep the slice numbers.
