Within the simulator, under the ‘Add pulse sequences’ you are able to pull sequences to build ex-novo from Standard Sequences, to pull whole protocols ready-to-go from Standard Protocols as well as to create, add, and edit sequences and protocols in the user libraries (Personal, Course specific, and Lab specific).
Doing so, you are able not only to prepare labs with instructions, but also with pre-made sequences and protocols made by you.
To save a new sequence to one of those library, the user can right-click on the specific sequence within the list, and select one of the three libraries.
The Sequence will be saved in that specific library, with a filled square ▪️ and/or a cog wheel ⚙️ on the right hand side.
The ▪️ appears if the pulse sequence has a custom image position.
The ⚙️ appears if the pulse sequence has custom configuration.
To add this sequence to a specific category/protocol, simply select it and drag it in the specific category/protocol.
Within any of the libraries, a user can Create Category and then Create a Protocol (this button will activate once the category is created/selected).
Each category (and the protocols belonging to it) can be selected through a checkbox on the left-hand side, then right-clicked on and saved to any of the remaining libraries: for example if I created a Category with some protocols in my personal library, I can right click only on that specific category and save it to the Course specific rather than the Lab Specific library and vice-versa.
