VIDEO - Lumbar Spine (NEW! With Audio)

How to scan Lumbar spine with a dedicated spine model, apply sat bands, multi-stack, use Spine coil and noise in acquisition.

This video shows how to perform Lumbar spine acquisition using CORSMED MRI Simulator using a dedicated and segmented Lumbar model in the anatomy model list (when creating a course).
Note that sometimes, the lumbar spine can be launched using the Male Total Body Model. This means that when the Male Total body model is used, the user will need to change isocenter in order to position the digital patient in the lumbar area. You can refer to this article to do so.

Once the model is properly positioned, new scouts will be acquired and can be uploaded. Saturation bands and multiple stacks acquisitions will also be demonstrated.

The video also shows how to increase realism of the simulation in this protocol by selecting the Scanner Setting and switching to Spine Coil, then into Simulation Settings to activate the Noise.
