How to scan Lumbar spine from Total Body model, apply sat bands, multi-stack, use Spine coil and noise in acquisition.
This video shows how to perform Lumbar spine acquisition although CORSMED MRI Simulator does not yet have a dedicated and segmented Lumbar model in the anatomy model list (when creating a course).
This means that when the Total body model is used, the user will need to change isocenter in order to position the digital patient in the lumbar area. You can refer to this article to do so.
Once the model is properly positioned, new scouts will be acquired and sat bands and multiple stacks acquisitions will also be demonstrated.
The video also shows how to increase realism of the simulation in this protocol by selecting the Scanner Setting and switching to Spine Coil, then into Simulation Settings to activate the Noise.
